Our client had lived in this cottage for many years and was devastated when his home caught fire, fortunately no one was hurt.

The cottage was not Listed and therefore the process was simpler than otherwise could have been, the cottage was rebuilt in a simple form, replacing the thatch roof with Clay pantiles and incorporating modern day standards of insulation and facilities.

The project resulted in a modern take of a simple small rural cottage, typical of a time gone past, that would be fit for a agricultural worker.
